As an RMT with Hiring.zycto, you will be instrumental in assessing, treating, and rehabilitating clients with diverse conditions, including chronic pain, acute injuries, stress-related tension, and pre/post-natal discomfort. You will utilize your comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology to develop personalized treatment plans, employing a variety of massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and remedial exercise. Beyond the hands-on therapy, your role will extend to educating clients on self-care strategies, posture correction, and stretching exercises to promote long-term well-being and injury prevention.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client assessments to identify needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide high-quality therapeutic massage services using various techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, PNF stretching).
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, remedial exercises, and preventative strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and consent forms.
- Adhere to the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) standards of practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (e.g., chiropractors, physiotherapists) for integrated client care.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of treatment rooms and equipment.
- Actively participate in clinic meetings and continuous professional development.
Required Skills
- Active registration and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
- Proficiency in a wide range of massage therapy techniques
- Excellent anatomical and physiological knowledge
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Meticulous record-keeping and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Massage Therapist
- Additional certifications in specialized modalities (e.g., MVA, FST, hot stone, cupping)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- A strong existing client base or proven ability to build one
- Bilingualism (e.g., English/French, English/Tagalog) is an asset
