Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics using FEA/CFD tools.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, manufacturing) to integrate mechanical designs into broader systems.
- Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation phases, identifying and resolving design issues.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Provide technical support and expertise throughout the product lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovative solution generation.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and engineering.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA).
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for stress and thermal analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering (P.Eng) license or eligibility.
