Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the clinic's appointment book efficiently.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring strict confidentiality (HIPAA/GDPR compliance).
  • Process patient registrations, update demographic and insurance information.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and electronic communications.
  • Assist with basic billing and insurance verification procedures.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean, organized, and stocked.
  • Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Support medical staff with administrative tasks as needed.
