Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Medical Scribe to join our growing team. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently transcribe medical observations, physician dictations, and patient histories into electronic health records (EHRs) while adhering to strict confidentiality and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately document patient encounters, including history of present illness, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans in the EHR system.
  • Transcribe physician dictations and conversations directly into patient charts in real-time during virtual consultations.
  • Prepare and format medical documents for review and signature by the supervising physician.
  • Ensure all documentation is compliant with relevant medical, legal, and ethical standards, including HIPAA and HITECH.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and other team members regarding documentation clarity and completeness.
  • Assist physicians with administrative tasks related to patient charts, such as retrieving lab results or imaging studies.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all data security protocols.
  • Continuously update knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic procedures, and relevant regulations.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Exceptional listening and transcription skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications
