As a Mental Health Worker, you will be a crucial part of our person-centred care approach, working closely with service users to support their daily living, promote independence, and facilitate their journey towards improved mental health. Your role will involve assisting with personal care, administering medication (following training and strict protocols), and helping individuals participate in therapeutic activities designed to foster social skills, cognitive function, and emotional regulation. Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
- Assist service users with daily living activities, promoting independence and life skills.
- Facilitate and encourage participation in therapeutic, social, and recreational activities.
- Observe, report, and document changes in service users' condition or behaviour.
- Contribute to the development and review of individualised care plans.
- Administer prescribed medication in accordance with training and company policies.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for service users.
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
