Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and creative Merchandiser with a keen eye for detail to elevate our product displays and arrangement within our vibrant Holborn location. As a Merchandiser – Product Display & Arrangement, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our retail space is consistently inspiring, organized, and optimized for maximum visual impact. This involves everything from conceptualizing window displays to meticulously arranging shelf layouts, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and aesthetic appeal. You will work collaboratively with our sales and marketing teams, providing valuable insights from the shop floor and contributing to strategic planning for new product launches and promotions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement visually appealing and effective product displays across the store, including window displays, in-store fixtures, and promotional areas.
  • Ensure all products are displayed logically, attractively, and in accordance with brand guidelines and merchandising standards.
  • Regularly refresh and update displays to reflect new arrivals, seasonal changes, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor stock levels on display, ensuring products are well-replenished and maintained, collaborating with inventory teams as needed.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to optimize product placement and display strategies for improved sales performance.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify new trends and innovative merchandising techniques.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe retail environment, paying close attention to visual hygiene.
  • Provide guidance and support to sales associates on product presentation and merchandising best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and purchasing teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and product launches.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in visual merchandising or retail display design.
  • Strong aesthetic sense and creative flair with an eye for detail and color coordination.
  • Excellent understanding of retail display principles and consumer behavior.
  • Ability to interpret visual guidelines and implement them effectively.
  • Proficiency in using display materials and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
  • Physical ability to lift and move merchandise, stand for extended periods, and perform display installations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree or certification in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Design, or a related field.
  • Experience with CAD or other design software for display planning.
  • Familiarity with current retail trends and fashion industry insights.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
