Hiring.zycto is on the lookout for a vigilant and dedicated Mobile Patrol Assistant to join our night shift team in Devon, Milford. This critical role involves ensuring the security and safety of various client premises across the region during nighttime hours. As a Mobile Patrol Assistant, you will be the eyes and ears of our operation, conducting proactive patrols, responding to alarms, and documenting all activities and incidents with precision. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive mobile patrols of designated client properties during night shifts.
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarm activations and security incidents.
- Perform scheduled checks of premises, ensuring all entry points are secured and identifying any potential vulnerabilities.
- Lock and unlock client sites according to specific instructions and schedules.
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all patrol activities, incidents, and observations.
- Report any suspicious activities, breaches, or emergencies to the control centre immediately.
- Operate and maintain company patrol vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Collaborate effectively with the control centre team and other security personnel.
- Provide a visible security presence to deter unauthorized access and criminal activity.
- Complete incident reports and daily activity reports with clarity and precision.
Required Skills
- SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guard)
- Valid UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Proven experience in security, preferably in a mobile patrol or night shift role
- Excellent observational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong report writing and record-keeping abilities
- Proficiency in using security equipment and communication devices
- Right to work in the UK
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid qualification
- Experience with CCTV monitoring systems
- Knowledge of local area geography in Devon
- Customer service experience
- Basic IT proficiency for report generation
