Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of mobile security guards during night shifts, ensuring adherence to operational procedures.
- Develop and optimize patrol routes to maximize coverage and efficiency across assigned client sites.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as per protocol.
- Conduct on-site inspections and patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks, reporting findings accurately.
- Provide clear, concise, and timely incident reports, daily logs, and other administrative documentation.
- Act as a primary liaison between the security team, clients, and management during the night shift.
- Conduct on-the-job training and mentorship for security guards, fostering professional development and team cohesion.
- Ensure all team members comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and relevant legislation.
- Operate and maintain security equipment, including patrol vehicles, communication devices, and surveillance systems.
- Manage conflict resolution and de-escalation of challenging situations with professionalism and calm.
Required Skills
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid G Class Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 3 years of security experience, with at least 1 year in a mobile patrol or supervisory capacity
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in incident report writing and documentation
- Ability to operate security technology and communication systems
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- First Aid and CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in a night shift environment
