While the term ‘MOT Tester’ is traditionally recognized in the UK for Ministry of Transport tests, in the US context, this role will involve comprehensive vehicle inspections, emissions testing, and ensuring all vehicles meet state and federal safety and environmental regulations. We are prepared to provide all necessary training and support to help you achieve the required certifications and become a fully qualified Vehicle Inspector.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training programs to achieve required vehicle inspection certifications.
- Learn to perform thorough multi-point inspections on various vehicle types, identifying mechanical and safety defects.
- Understand and apply state and federal regulations pertaining to vehicle safety and emissions.
- Accurately document all inspection findings and recommended repairs using digital systems.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle conditions and inspection outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
- Operate diagnostic equipment and specialized tools safely and proficiently after training.
- Continuously update knowledge on new vehicle technologies and inspection standards.

Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
- Basic mechanical aptitude or a strong interest in automotive technology
