Key Responsibilities

  • Compose original musical scores and themes for a wide range of media projects, including film, television, video games, and digital campaigns.
  • Orchestrate, arrange, and produce high-quality audio tracks, ensuring seamless integration with visual content.
  • Collaborate closely with directors, producers, sound designers, and other creative team members to understand project vision and deliver fitting musical solutions.
  • Iterate on compositions based on feedback, maintaining artistic integrity while meeting project requirements and deadlines.
  • Maintain high standards of musical quality, technical proficiency, and creative innovation.
  • Utilize digital audio workstations (DAWs) and various software instruments/libraries effectively to achieve desired sonic textures.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely delivery of all musical assets.
  • Conduct thorough research into different musical genres, styles, and historical periods as required by specific projects.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a music composer, preferably in soundtrack or media production.
  • Exceptional portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of compositional styles and genres.
  • Expertise in music theory, harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration.
  • Proficiency with at least one major Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) such as Logic Pro X, Cubase, Ableton Live, or Pro Tools.
  • Strong understanding of musical arrangement, sound design principles, and audio mixing concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a creative team.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • A keen ear for detail and a passion for creating emotive and impactful soundscapes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Composition, Music Production, Film Scoring, or a related field.
  • Experience with adaptive music systems for video games.
  • Proficiency in additional DAWs or notation software (e.g., Sibelius, Finale).
  • Knowledge of various world music styles and instruments.
  • Experience working in a professional studio environment.
  • Familiarity with audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD).
