Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-of-day financial auditing and reconciliation of all transactions.
  • Verify the accuracy of guest accounts and balance daily revenue reports.
  • Process guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations efficiently during overnight hours.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and excellent service.
  • Prepare daily operational reports for management, including occupancy and revenue summaries.
  • Monitor security systems and conduct regular property walk-throughs to ensure guest safety and property integrity.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
  • Set up the front desk and lobby for the morning shift, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Address any system discrepancies or operational issues that arise overnight, escalating when necessary.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reconciliation.
  • Excellent basic mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to interact politely with guests.
  • Reliability and ability to work independently during night shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, even outside of hospitality.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus, but not required (training provided).
