Job Description

A Night Retail Stock Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail environment. Working primarily during overnight hours, this position is crucial for maintaining optimal stock levels, efficient merchandise display, and a clean, organised store ready for the next day’s customers. Your dedication contributes directly to customer satisfaction and the overall success of our store.

At Hiring.zycto, we understand the importance of a well-managed stockroom and a meticulously organised sales floor. As a Night Retail Stock Assistant, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and moving incoming deliveries, ensuring all products are accurately accounted for and safely stored or moved to the sales area. This involves careful handling of a wide range of merchandise, from perishable goods to general non-food items, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines at all times.

You will be adept at shelf replenishment, ensuring that products are correctly priced and displayed according to planograms and merchandising standards. This role demands a keen eye for detail, as you will be checking for damaged items, managing expiry dates for fresh produce, and ensuring stock rotation is performed diligently to minimise waste. Your efficiency in these tasks directly impacts our ability to meet customer demand and present a fresh, appealing shopping experience each morning.

The nocturnal environment requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small, focused night team. You will be expected to maintain a tidy work area, assist with general store cleaning duties, and contribute to a safe working environment for all colleagues. This position offers a dynamic setting for individuals who prefer working outside traditional daytime hours, providing a sense of accomplishment in preparing the store for peak operating times.

This opportunity at Hiring.zycto is more than just a job; it’s a chance to be an integral part of a thriving retail operation. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, are physically capable of handling stock, and possess a strong work ethic. If you are reliable, organised, and ready to make a significant contribution during the quiet hours, we encourage you to apply and join our dedicated team in Coventry. We value your commitment and offer a supportive environment where your hard work is recognised and appreciated.
