Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with hygiene, dressing, and toileting, always maintaining dignity and respect.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques safely.
- Monitor residents' health status, noting and reporting any changes in condition, behaviour, or well-being to senior staff immediately.
- Respond promptly to call bells and residents' requests, offering reassurance and practical support.
- Ensure residents are comfortable and settled throughout the night, assisting with repositioning as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided, observations, and any incidents.
- Prepare and serve refreshments or snacks as required, adhering to dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist with light domestic duties to maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment.
- Work collaboratively with other care staff and professionals to deliver holistic, person-centred care.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
