This is a crucial role within our operations, ensuring the security and safety of valuable construction sites and equipment during non-working hours. As a Night Shift Construction Watchman, you will be the eyes and ears on the ground, responsible for deterring theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access, playing a direct part in the successful progression and completion of our projects.
Your nights will be spent patrolling the site, monitoring entry and exit points, and maintaining a constant presence that safeguards assets. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular, thorough patrols of the construction site during assigned night shifts.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems for any signs of intrusion or disturbance.
- Control access to the site, verifying credentials of any personnel entering or exiting.
- Record and report any suspicious activities, incidents, damage, or safety hazards observed.
- Maintain a detailed log of all activities, patrols, and incidents during the shift.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, including alarm activations or security breaches.
- Ensure all gates, doors, and access points are secured at all times.
- Liaise effectively with emergency services (police, fire, ambulance) if necessary.
- Enforce site rules and regulations to prevent unauthorized entry or unsafe practices.
