Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest standards, including making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in hotel public areas, including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and service areas during night hours.
- Handle laundry duties as required, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly to the Night Manager or appropriate department.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly used, maintained, and stored safely.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Manage and organize housekeeping trolleys and storage areas, ensuring adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and linen.
- Respond courteously and efficiently to any guest requests or emergencies that may arise during the night shift, escalating as necessary.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably within a hotel environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability, particularly for night shift operations.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform duties requiring bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
