Key Responsibilities

  • Administer oaths and affirmations accurately and impartially.
  • Witness signatures on a variety of legal, financial, and personal documents, ensuring proper execution.
  • Certify true copies of original documents, adhering to all provincial regulations.
  • Verify the identity of signers through official identification, maintaining rigorous security protocols.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential notarial records and journals.
  • Adhere strictly to all Notaries Act (Ontario) and other relevant provincial laws and regulations.
  • Provide professional, courteous, and efficient notarial services to all clients.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding notarial processes and requirements.

Required Skills

  • Certified Notary Public in the Province of Ontario.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Impeccable integrity and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Notary Public in a professional setting.
