Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility, while promoting independence.
- Accurately monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report changes.
- Support patients with feeding and hydration, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, their families, and the wider healthcare team.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures, observations, and delegated tasks as directed.
- Document patient care activities and observations meticulously and promptly.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients, fostering a sense of well-being.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and organisational policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification)
- Previous experience working in a hospital, care home, or similar healthcare setting
- Current First Aid certification
- Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children principles
