Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough nutritional assessments, including dietary analysis, body composition measurements, and lifestyle evaluations.
  • Develop personalized, evidence-based diet plans tailored to individual client goals, health conditions, and performance objectives.
  • Provide one-on-one and group nutritional counselling, education, and ongoing support.
  • Monitor client progress, evaluate the effectiveness of diet plans, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with coaches, fitness trainers, medical staff, and other professionals to ensure integrated client care.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and workshops on various nutrition topics to diverse audiences.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records and progress reports.
  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in nutritional science, sports nutrition, and dietetics.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nutritional programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure all dietary advice adheres to relevant health and safety guidelines and professional codes of conduct.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a clinical, sports, or public health nutrition setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing personalized diet plans.
  • Excellent knowledge of nutritional science, macronutrients, micronutrients, and dietary supplements.
  • Strong understanding of human physiology, metabolism, and the impact of nutrition on performance and health.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and empathetically.
  • Proficiency in nutritional assessment tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical conduct.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) status with a relevant professional body (e.g., BDA, AfN).
  • Experience working with athletes or within a sports performance environment.
  • Additional certifications in sports nutrition or health coaching.
  • Experience in delivering group educational sessions or public speaking.
  • Familiarity with catering operations and menu planning for diverse dietary needs.
