Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations based on order sheets or using an RF scanner.
- Verify product quantity, quality, and accuracy before packing.
- Safely operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment after receiving proper training.
- Prepare orders for shipment by packaging items securely and labeling them correctly.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any discrepancies or issues.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand English instructions and order forms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a physically demanding role (e.g., general labour, construction) is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices (training will be provided).
