Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, count, and pack pharmaceutical products according to strict order specifications and safety guidelines.
- Correctly label packages with essential product and patient information, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Perform thorough quality checks on all outgoing products to identify and rectify any discrepancies or damages before dispatch.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys) safely and efficiently following appropriate training.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and secure packing area, adhering strictly to all health and safety protocols, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of all tasks.
- Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, product shortages, or quality issues to management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a packing, warehouse, or production environment, preferably with night shift experience (minimum 6 months).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, which is crucial for sensitive pharmaceutical handling.
- Ability to follow strict instructions and standard operating procedures consistently.
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing, lifting (up to 20kg), and moving throughout the entire shift.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels, counting stock, and recording data.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong, proactive work ethic.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare-related logistics setting.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or similar quality control systems.
- Valid first aid certificate.
- Experience with barcode scanning and basic inventory management systems.
