Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of train carriages, including seating areas, windows, floors, and lavatories, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised.
- Clean and maintain platform areas, waiting rooms, ticket halls, and staff facilities to required standards.
- Empty and sanitise waste bins, ensuring proper waste segregation and disposal procedures are followed.
- Operate cleaning equipment suchably, including vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers, following all safety guidelines.
- Replenish washroom supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels.
- Report any damage, maintenance issues, or health and safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all company health and safety regulations, COSHH guidelines, and site-specific procedures.
- Work efficiently and independently, managing time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
