Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, filling holes, and patching cracks.
- Apply primers, paints, varnishes, stains, and sealants to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Perform minor repairs to plaster, drywall, and other surfaces before painting.
- Select and mix paints to achieve desired colours and textures.
- Ensure proper ventilation and adherence to health and safety regulations on all job sites.
- Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths and masking tape.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment properly.
- Inspect finished surfaces to ensure quality and address any imperfections.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members.
- Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Painter in construction finishing and maintenance.
- Proficiency in surface preparation techniques (sanding, scraping, patching).
- Expertise in applying various paint types and finishes.
