Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced painters with various tasks, including setup and cleanup.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and masking.
- Apply primer and paint coats using brushes, rollers, and potentially sprayers under supervision.
- Mix paints to achieve desired colors and consistencies.
- Protect surrounding areas and furniture from paint splatter.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project.
- Load and unload equipment and supplies at job sites.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Actively learn and apply new painting techniques and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
