Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced painters with all aspects of interior and exterior painting projects.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and masking.
- Safeguard surrounding areas by laying drop cloths, taping off trim, and covering furniture.
- Load, unload, and organize painting materials and equipment at job sites.
- Mix and stir paints, primers, and other coatings according to specifications.
- Clean brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other tools after use.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite throughout the project duration.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines meticulously.
- Perform minor touch-ups and final clean-up tasks to ensure client satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with lead painters and team members to ensure smooth project flow.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Basic understanding of general safety procedures in a construction or manual labor setting.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
