Key Responsibilities
- Prepare work areas by masking, taping, and covering surfaces to protect against paint splatter.
- Perform surface preparation tasks including scraping, sanding, patching, and cleaning walls.
- Assist lead painters with applying paint, primer, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Handle and move equipment, supplies, and materials safely and efficiently.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas daily.
- Ensure proper ventilation and adherence to safety protocols on all job sites.
- Follow instructions from project leads and senior painters diligently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients when necessary.
- Perform general clean-up duties to maintain a tidy and professional work environment.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
