As a Parts Runner, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that the right parts reach the right place at the right time. You will be responsible for picking up and delivering automotive parts to various locations within the Mount Olive-Silverstone-Jamestown and greater Toronto area, supporting our clients and technicians. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport automotive parts to various client locations and internal departments within the Toronto area.
  • Verify accuracy of part orders against delivery manifests to ensure correct items are delivered.
  • Load and unload parts from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, performing routine checks (e.g., fuel, tire pressure) and reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Assist with warehouse duties, including organizing inventory, stocking shelves, and preparing outgoing shipments, as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and internal staff regarding delivery status, delays, or discrepancies.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and driving regulations.
  • Provide friendly and professional service to all customers and contacts during deliveries and pickups.

Required Skills

  • Valid G Class Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs comfortably and safely.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Basic communication skills (verbal and written English).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the Mount Olive-Silverstone-Jamestown and surrounding Toronto area roads and traffic patterns.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts or a general interest in the automotive industry.
  • Previous experience in a role requiring attention to detail and customer interaction.
