You will be responsible for picking up and delivering automotive parts to various locations within the Mount Olive-Silverstone-Jamestown and greater Toronto area, supporting our clients and technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport automotive parts to various client locations and internal departments within the Toronto area.
- Verify accuracy of part orders against delivery manifests to ensure correct items are delivered.
- Load and unload parts from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, performing routine checks (e.g., fuel, tire pressure) and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including organizing inventory, stocking shelves, and preparing outgoing shipments, as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and internal staff regarding delivery status, delays, or discrepancies.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and driving regulations.
- Provide friendly and professional service to all customers and contacts during deliveries and pickups.
Required Skills
- Valid G Class Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs comfortably and safely.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic communication skills (verbal and written English).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Mount Olive-Silverstone-Jamestown and surrounding Toronto area roads and traffic patterns.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
