Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and comforting environment.
  • Help with light household tasks, meal preparation, and feeding as needed.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition, behavior, or needs to the supervising nurse or case manager.
  • Assist with transfers and positioning, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Accompany patients to appointments or outings, as required.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols, company policies, and patient privacy standards.
  • Engage patients in stimulating activities and conversations and encourage independence where possible.
