Key Responsibilities
- Safely and compassionately transport patients via wheelchairs, trolleys, and beds between departments.
- Assist patients with limited mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity during transfers.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, explaining processes and offering reassurance.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of transport equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and hospital policies, including infection control guidelines.
- Liaise with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely patient movements.
- Provide basic assistance to patients as needed, such as helping with personal belongings.
