Key Responsibilities
- Assist service users with all aspects of personal care, including washing, dressing, mobility, and toileting, maintaining their dignity and privacy at all times.
- Provide support with medication administration in accordance with care plans and company policies, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Help with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration, taking into account dietary requirements and preferences.
- Provide companionship and engage service users in stimulating activities, hobbies, and social interactions.
- Assist with light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in a service user's health, well-being, or circumstances to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and daily logs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of service users by adhering to health and safety guidelines and risk assessments.
- Liaise effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and other team members to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Promote independence and choice, empowering service users to make their own decisions where possible.
Required Skills
- Demonstrable empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to care for others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic understanding of health and safety principles.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Full clean UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred, but not essential for all roles).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care setting (e.g., as a Personal Care Assistant, Carer, or Support Worker).
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, or equivalent qualification.
- First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults.
