Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in data analysis related to reservoir performance, well logs, and production metrics.
- Support the development and calibration of reservoir models and simulations.
- Contribute to the design and optimization of drilling, completion, and production operations.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation under guidance.
- Participate in field visits (as required) to observe and understand operational processes.
- Learn and apply industry-standard software for petroleum engineering tasks.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices in the oil and gas industry.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geologists, geophysicists, and production staff.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations in all activities.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related field (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical Engineering with a petroleum focus).
- Strong foundational knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and geology.
