Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
- Manage and maintain pharmacy stock levels, including ordering, receiving, storing, and rotating medications.
- Ensure all dispensed medications are correctly labelled and packaged according to legal and professional standards.
- Process patient prescriptions, manage confidential patient records, and handle sensitive information with utmost discretion.
- Provide friendly, professional, and empathetic customer service, addressing patient queries and escalating clinical questions to the pharmacist as necessary.
- Undertake general administrative duties, including filing, accurate data entry into pharmacy systems, and maintaining a clean and organised dispensary environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, operational procedures, and relevant pharmaceutical legislation and guidelines.
- Support the wider pharmacy team in various tasks to ensure efficient and uninterrupted daily operations.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a pharmacy or similar healthcare setting, with an understanding of dispensing procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and experience with pharmacy dispensing software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as a vital part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Pharmacy Services (or an equivalent recognised qualification).
- Previous experience with automated or robotic dispensing systems.
- Current First Aid qualification.
- Familiarity with common pharmaceutical terminology and drug classifications.
