Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and labelling of prescription medications and other medical products.
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription details, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations.
- Manage and organise pharmacy stock, including receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies, as well as monitoring expiry dates.
- Process patient prescriptions efficiently, ensuring accuracy and verifying patient information.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient enquiries, and directing them to the pharmacist when necessary.
- Operate pharmacy computer systems for prescription input, billing, and inventory management.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, ensuring the pharmacy runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, pharmacy policies, and ethical guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment within the pharmacy.
