Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in and complete all assigned training modules and on-the-job instruction.
- Assist pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians with various tasks, including receiving and stocking medications.
- Learn to accurately count, pour, measure, and mix medications under direct supervision.
- Prepare and process new and refill prescriptions under the guidance of a pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information.
- Learn and adhere to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Perform basic administrative duties as assigned.
