Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists and senior pharmacy technicians with day-to-day pharmacy operations.
  • Receive, interpret, and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently under supervision.
  • Learn and apply proper techniques for preparing, packaging, and labeling medications.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves, monitoring expiry dates, and assisting with order placement.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and escalating complex issues to pharmacists.
  • Adhere strictly to all provincial and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, regarding pharmacy practice and patient safety.
  • Participate actively in all training modules and continuous learning initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the healthcare sector.
  • Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience in any field.
