Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality photography for studio sessions (portraits, product, commercial) and live events (corporate, private, public).
- Set up and manage professional lighting, backdrops, and other photographic equipment both in-studio and on location.
- Operate and maintain a range of professional camera bodies, lenses, and accessories.
- Conduct thorough post-production, including editing, retouching, colour correction, and image manipulation using Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Manage and organise digital assets, including file storage, backup, and delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organised studio environment and ensure all equipment is in excellent working condition.
- Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and equipment to continuously enhance photographic skills and output.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines, managing multiple assignments efficiently.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with professional DSLR/mirrorless camera systems and various lenses.
- Expert-level knowledge of lighting techniques (natural, strobe, continuous) and modifiers.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for photo editing and retouching.
- Demonstrable portfolio showcasing strong studio and event photography work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments.
- Creative vision and artistic flair with a keen eye for composition and aesthetics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with video production and editing (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Knowledge of current industry-standard photography equipment and software.
- Previous experience working for a photography studio or creative agency.
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for event travel.
