Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Contract Physiotherapist to join our vibrant team in Flemingdon Park, Toronto. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical condition, limitations, and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient goals and conditions.
- Administer a variety of physiotherapy techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians, occupational therapists) to ensure integrated patient care.
- Maintain professional standards and adhere to all regulatory and ethical guidelines set forth by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Actively participate in clinical meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Valid registration and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO).
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years (24 months) of clinical experience as a Physiotherapist.
- Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plan development.
- Proficiency in a wide range of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Specialized certifications in areas such as acupuncture, dry needling, or advanced manual therapy.
- Previous experience in a private clinic setting.
- Fluency in additional languages relevant to Toronto's diverse population.
