Job Description

Hiring.zycto is urgently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our thriving team in West Vancouver. Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
  • Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layouts for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
  • Inspect plumbing systems for leaks and other problems, diagnosing issues and determining the most effective solutions.
  • Cut, thread, and bend pipes to specifications, using hand and power tools.
  • Repair or replace broken or leaking pipes, faucets, and fixtures, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety codes, building codes, and plumbing regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs, provide estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours spent on each job.

Required Skills

  • Red Seal Journeyman Plumber certification in British Columbia.
  • Minimum 4 years of proven plumbing experience in residential and commercial settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency with various plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with specialized plumbing systems (e.g., radiant heating, backflow prevention).
  • Certification in gas fitting (Class B or A).
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
