Job Description

Hiring.zycto is actively seeking experienced and dedicated Plumbers to join our growing network of skilled trades professionals in East York, Toronto, Canada. As a Plumber with visa support, you will be instrumental in installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment. You will be expected to diagnose issues, interpret blueprints, and ensure all work adheres to Canadian plumbing codes and safety regulations. This role requires not only technical proficiency but also a strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. You will work independently and as part of a team, tackling everything from routine maintenance to complex system installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems and materials required.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues, performing necessary repairs and replacements.
  • Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes using various techniques and tools.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with Ontario Building Code and local regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Provide accurate estimates and material take-offs for projects.
  • Train and mentor apprentices as required.

Required Skills

  • Journeyman Plumber Certification (or equivalent recognized international credential)
  • Minimum 4 years of verifiable experience in plumbing trade
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safety practices and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Red Seal Endorsement (Interprovincial Standard for Plumbers)
  • Experience with commercial and/or industrial plumbing systems
  • Valid G2 Gas Technician license or higher
  • Familiarity with smart home plumbing technologies
  • Previous experience working in a multicultural environment
