Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers and journeymen with various tasks on job sites.
- Learn and apply plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Prepare, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
- Perform basic plumbing tasks under direct supervision, such as cutting and threading pipes, assembling fittings, and installing fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools are properly cared for.
- Help with the excavation and backfilling of trenches for piping.
- Observe and learn diagnostic techniques for identifying plumbing issues.
- Attend all required training sessions and complete any assigned coursework related to plumbing.
