Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily feeding and watering of poultry.
- Monitor flock health and report any signs of illness or injury to supervisors.
- Clean and sanitize poultry houses, equipment, and feeding areas according to strict biosecurity protocols.
- Collect eggs and ensure proper handling, sorting, and packaging.
- Assist with bird movements, vaccination programs, and health treatments.
- Operate and maintain basic farm equipment and machinery (e.g., feeders, ventilation systems).
- Perform general farm maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all animal welfare guidelines and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of feed consumption, egg production, and bird health.
- Support supervisors with other farm-related duties as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality.
