Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team in Fairfield, Liverpool. This pivotal role will be instrumental in managing our end-to-end procurement process, focusing on strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management. As a Procurement Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, aligning with our company’s operational needs and strategic objectives. You will navigate complex supply chains, identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and foster strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers.
This position demands a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical abilities, and proven negotiation prowess. You will be expected to conduct market research, evaluate supplier performance, and manage competitive bidding processes to secure the best value for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of procurement best practices, contract law principles, and supply chain management. You will work closely with various internal departments, including operations, finance, and legal, to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize costs and improve supplier performance.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms, conditions, and pricing.
- Manage the full lifecycle of procurement contracts, including drafting, review, execution, and renewal.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Issue and manage RFQs, RFPs, and ITTs, ensuring a fair and transparent bidding process.
- Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed-upon SLAs and KPIs, driving continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Process purchase requisitions, create purchase orders, and track order status from initiation to delivery.
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions and contractual disputes.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of procurement systems and processes.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Procurement Executive or similar role (minimum 3 years).
- Demonstrable expertise in contract negotiation and management.
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices and supply chain principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- CIPS qualification or working towards one.
