Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and dedicated Production Assistant to join our fast-paced media team in Bloordale Village, Toronto. Key Responsibilities
- Assist producers and directors with pre-production tasks including research, scheduling, location scouting, and talent coordination.
- Manage and organize production paperwork, permits, call sheets, and other essential documentation.
- Coordinate logistics for shoots, including equipment rental, transportation, catering, and accommodation.
- Provide on-set support to ensure smooth operations, assisting with lighting, sound, camera setup, and general crew needs.
- Maintain inventory of production equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is accounted for and in good working order.
- Facilitate communication between various departments, ensuring everyone is aligned on project goals and timelines.
- Assist with post-production administrative tasks, such as footage logging, media management, and archiving.
- Run errands as needed to support production activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on and off set.
Required Skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Television, Media Production, or a related field.

- Familiarity with production software (e.g., Celtx, Movie Magic Scheduling) is a plus.
- Valid G Class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of local production resources and locations in Toronto.
