Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Perform quality checks on products at various stages to ensure they meet specified standards and identify any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Assemble, package, and label finished goods accurately and efficiently for shipment or storage.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering strictly to all company safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or production issues promptly to supervisors for immediate resolution.
  • Assist with material handling, including loading, unloading, and transporting raw materials and finished products as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to achieve daily production targets and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to quality assurance, environmental regulations, and workplace conduct.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime.
  • Participate actively in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills, knowledge, and understanding of production processes and new technologies.

Required Skills

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures meticulously.
  • Strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to quality standards.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise tasks.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and possess a strong, proactive work ethic.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Basic communication skills (verbal and written) in English or French.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (e.g., 6-12 months) in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Forklift certification or experience operating similar material handling equipment (an asset).
  • Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, nights) as per production needs and schedules.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
