Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead our impactful initiatives within the non-profit sector. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of multiple programs, ensuring alignment with Hiring.zycto's strategic goals and mission.
- Develop detailed program plans, including scope, objectives, budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Oversee program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with grant requirements.
- Manage and mentor program staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including community partners, funders, government agencies, and beneficiaries.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on program progress, outcomes, and impact for internal use, donors, and other external audiences.
- Identify opportunities for program growth, development, and improvement, including securing new funding sources and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication channels within program teams and across the organization to ensure seamless coordination and information flow.
- Represent Hiring.zycto at relevant conferences, forums, and community events to promote our work and build networks.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in program management within the non-profit sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from initiation to closure, including budget and staff oversight.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and report writing.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Capacity to work effectively with diverse populations and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of grant management, fundraising principles, and donor relations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Non-profit Management, Social Work, Public Administration, International Development, or a related field.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience with specific non-profit CRMs or data management systems.
- Familiarity with the socio-economic and cultural landscape of Vancouver and British Columbia.
- Proficiency in a second language relevant to Vancouver's diverse communities.
