Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of rental properties, ensuring high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction.
- Oversee the entire rental process from marketing and viewings to tenant screening, lease signing, and move-in.
- Handle rent collection, arrears management, and deposit administration in accordance with legal requirements.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of property maintenance, including routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Liaise effectively with tenants, landlords, and contractors to resolve maintenance issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring properties meet safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, tracking expenses and providing regular financial reports to landlords.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant housing legislation, health and safety regulations, and Scottish letting agent standards.
- Mediate tenant disputes and handle complaints efficiently, striving for amicable resolutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date property records, including leases, maintenance logs, and financial statements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Property Manager, particularly with rentals and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of Scottish housing legislation and letting regulations.
