Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to established specifications and quality standards.
  • Utilize various measurement tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify product compliance.
  • Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, noting any deviations or non-conformances.
  • Identify and report defective materials or products to supervisors for further review and resolution.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe inspection area, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with production team members to understand product requirements and quality expectations.
  • Participate actively in training sessions to enhance knowledge of quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for discrepancies.
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and data recording.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings or specifications (training provided).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and collaboration.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • High level of reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in any manufacturing or production environment (even non-QC roles).
  • Familiarity with quality control concepts or basic inspection tools.
