Hiring.zycto is excited to announce an exceptional opening for an Entry Level Radio Presenter to join a thriving broadcast team located in the historic and vibrant Algiers Point, New Orleans. Key Responsibilities
- Host assigned radio programs and segments with energy, creativity, and professional delivery.
- Prepare and research show content, including news, weather, traffic updates, listener requests, and community announcements.
- Engage with listeners on-air through calls, texts, and social media, fostering a strong connection with the audience.
- Operate broadcast equipment, including microphones, mixing consoles, and playback systems, under supervision.
- Collaborate with producers and program directors to ensure smooth show transitions and adherence to programming schedules.
- Develop and maintain an engaging on-air persona that resonates with the target demographic.
- Participate in station promotional events, community outreach activities, and live remote broadcasts.
- Record voice-overs, station IDs, promotional spots, and commercial advertisements as required.
- Provide constructive feedback and actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement in performance.
- Adhere to all FCC regulations, station policies, and ethical broadcasting standards.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related field.
- Prior experience in college radio, podcasting, or volunteer broadcasting.
- Familiarity with audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity).
- Active presence on social media with an understanding of content creation.
- Bilingual abilities (especially Spanish or French Creole) are a plus.
