Based in the creative heart of Downtown Sioux City, you will serve as the crucial liaison, acting as the indispensable bridge between emerging musical talents and our established, artist-centric label infrastructure. Your primary mission will be to provide comprehensive administrative, creative, and logistical support to our A&R executives, ensuring the smooth operation of our talent pipeline from initial scouting to artist development.
This role demands a combination of a finely tuned ear for original sound, a proactive and forward-thinking approach to industry trends and evolving musical landscapes, and exceptional organizational skills essential for managing a diverse and continually growing portfolio of potential and signed artists. You will be instrumental in the initial talent scouting phase, which includes actively attending local and regional showcases, meticulously reviewing an extensive volume of demo submissions, and leveraging digital platforms to identify artists whose unique vision and sonic identity align perfectly with Hiring.zycto’s diverse and respected roster. Your insight into what resonates with current audiences and what has the potential to break new ground will be invaluable.
Beyond the initial talent identification, your responsibilities will significantly extend to facilitating seamless communication across various departments, meticulously scheduling critical meetings with artists and management, coordinating studio sessions, and diligently managing sensitive contracts, intellectual property documentation, and budget tracking related to artist projects. Your active contribution will directly impact our label’s ability to discover, sign, and meticulously develop artists who resonate powerfully with audiences globally, making this a truly rewarding and influential position within our company. You’ll find yourself at the forefront of cultural shifts, working collaboratively with artists across a myriad of genres, and playing a vital role in crafting compelling narratives around their music.
