Key Responsibilities
- Scout for new artists across various platforms (live shows, social media, streaming services, online communities).
- Evaluate demo submissions and provide concise, constructive feedback to the A&R team.
- Maintain an organized database of artist contacts, demo submissions, and industry leads.
- Conduct in-depth research on music trends, emerging genres, and competitor activities.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, studio sessions, and travel arrangements for artists and A&R executives.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on potential signings and market analysis.
- Foster relationships with artists, managers, producers, and other industry professionals.
- Support the A&R team with administrative tasks, contract coordination, and project management.
- Attend industry events, showcases, and live performances to identify new talent and network.
- Liaise with legal, marketing, and publicity departments to ensure seamless artist development.
- Track and analyze artist performance data to inform A&R strategies.
