Key Responsibilities
- Prepare studios for recording sessions, including microphone setup, cable management, and equipment testing.
- Assist engineers and producers during tracking, mixing, and mastering sessions.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization, ensuring a professional and efficient workspace.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of studio equipment (e.g., changing mic cables, checking connections).
- Archive and manage digital audio files and project backups.
- Greet and assist clients and artists, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.
- Run errands related to studio operations (e.g., picking up supplies, preparing refreshments).
- Learn and operate various Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) and studio hardware.
- Support administrative tasks as required, such as scheduling or inventory checks.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative studio atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of audio equipment and signal flow.
- Proficiency with at least one major DAW (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live).
